Photographer’s Note: Nestled in the Mojave Desert, most people come through Twentynine Palms, California on their way into Joshua Tree National Park. However, the Joshua Trees aren’t the only beautiful plant life in the area. On the day that I took this photo, the weather (and air traffic) aligned to allow for low hanging clouds and a blue sky that goes on seemingly into the stratosphere. The soft skies and clouds almost make this photograph look like a painting.
