Photographer’s Note: This image is a favorite of mine. When I lived in Brooklyn, I loved spending time exploring all of the small trails and hidden spaces in Prospect Park. One weekends mornings, I’d often visit the Long Meadow area to watch the hundreds of dogs that frolic there during off leash hours. It is a place of pure joy for the dogs running free and their owners. On this snowy morning, I had the place to myself. As I was enjoying the peace and solitude, I saw someone joyfully running through the field with his dog. As they passed me by, I was able to capture the moment.
