City Swans
Limited print run. The reverse of each print is stamped for authenticity and signed and numbered by the photographer.
Photographer’s Note: A pair of swans swim along Lower Manhattan’s Battery Park in the early morning light. As the day begins to warm up, mist floats over the water obscuring the skyscrapers across the river. Most people think of the Hudson River as a highly polluted body of water, but cleanup efforts have resulted in the return of some wildlife in recent years.
One of the things that I like most about this image is that the haze, fog and clouds seems to almost be painted rather than photographed. These kinds of abstractions in nature fascinate me and make for compelling images.
